First Class Hopes for Schools

The Boston Public Schools system is making a bold appeal to city parents with a launch of six new kindergarten-to-8th grade schools, a Montessori pilot program and an emphasis on reading - all while bracing for a smaller budget, fewer teachers and another swine flu season.
